What's new in PHP4?

Is there a list anywhere that outlines what is new in PHP4? I've been using PHP3 for some time now, but I've just upgraded to PHP4 and want to see what's new. A list of new / changed functions would be a start, then I could look in the manual to read about them.

Oh, and has the standard for file extensions changed from .php3 to .php in PHP4? What are people doing, renaming all their old .php3's?

Thanks, but that wasn't quite what I was looking for. Just a list of new features would have been preferable (I can't believe this doesn't exist!)

Has the manual been updated at all? For instance, the page you referred me to mentions a new function called spliti(), but I could't find it mentioned anywhere in the online manual.
