As fond as many people are of straight text editors, I decided to risk a flaming to see if anyone was using a script editor for PHP with HTML.
I have worked a lot with ASP at work, and I just use Front Page for managing the site (it's what they gave me), but FP sucks at working with PHP scripts (it's not great with ASP) I have resorted to using notepad for my scripting, but would really like to have something that is a more full featured editor. I am looking for a simple program that highlights HTML tags and PHP scripting. I don't need any big ugly full of buttons GUI editor that screws up all the code, just something to make my scripts easier to read and write.
Is there anything out there? I have looked all over and can only find a few disgustingly bloated "do it all" programs that say they handle PHP.
