Hi by all! At me such problem: I do not know as download the file through the proxy-server and from SSL server through https with PHP. Somebody can knows where there are modules or examples of a solution of the given problem?
For now, you need to call an external utility, like an SSL-enabled version of "curl".
Work is underway to provide direct curl-support in PHP. An in a longer time-frame, PHP will probably support SSL-fopens directly.
