Please help - respond to his if you're willing to lend me a hand...

I have a form in the Flash file, but when I hit the submit button, the variable is not passed onto the next page.
My problem is assigning the value of the text field to the submit button.

This is passing into a php file...
PLEASE HELP!!!

Hello there

Try placing this action in the button.

On (Press)
Get URL ("yourfile.php", vars=POST)
End On

This will send all variables on the current level to your php file.

Thanks for the help - as it turns out, the problem was javascript. I forgot to mention that in the Get URL tag, I had some javascript to open a pop-up window upon submitting.
As soon as I took that out, the variable passed over without a problem

Now I have 2 more problems - One of which is the mail() function of php - I have a nother posting up if you wanna read that.
The second is the pop up window...
Seeing as the flash file is the bulk of the site, my client doesn't want people leaving that once they fill out the form...
Do you know how to make a pop up window work upon submitting, or is tht an impossibility?

sorry but i have a problem similar to yours. I want to pass varibles from php to flash. In even a simplest examlpe loadVariables("data.txt",0); with data.txt x=125 written in it but nothing happens. Do u know how can i solve out this problem?
