webmail in php. Problem with the multipart message

I'm developing a webmail in php. I already can send emails and receive them if they're in plain text. But I'm not sure what i have to do when they come in HTML.

Which part is the HTML version? 2nd one?

Why Netscape Messenger and MS Outlook seem to send the emails in HTML&text in different manners?

What are the boundarys? O🙂

Am i going to get crazy with all this stuff?

Is my english going to be better one day?

Are you using the mail() function? Do u assign user ID's are is it just a one to one basis mail program? I'm trying to develop a web mail application, something like what yahoo and hotmail offer... u got any inputs on that?

Sorry but I don't understand what are you asking me O🙂 I'm going to add as much local users as mail users I have. I'll read their emails via IMAP.
