Large and/or high profile sites using PHP

I am trying to convince a client that a PHP based solution will be the most flexible, quickest and most robust solution for their needs.

However, they want to be convinced that it's a viable solution and want examples of high traffic and high profile, mission critical sites that use PHP.

I read on Zend that mp3.lycos.com uses PHP, but could find little evidence on the site. Anyone know of other sites?

Go to www.php.net the Links section at the top there is a link to a huge list of sites that use php. Beware a lot of sites still use .htm or .html extensions although they use php.
