Persistent LDAP connection

Does PHP support persistent LDAP connection?
I was searching this site and the PHP manuals. There
doesn't seem to be any article covering this topic.
Anyone has ever tried this?

Hello guys,

the same problem. And it doesn't seems so. It seems I have to propagate all the login data from one form to another (I'm writing an LDAP client). I have spent days to find out; nothing.
