other then that, read tutorials on php which are all over the place. start with pressing "get started" in the nav bar here on phpbuilder.com

the annotated PHP.net manual is <insert deity here> and the columns on this site are a good place to start

IMO, shelling out a few quid for a hard copy manual is also essential and a real aid to learning, buy them through php.net so they get the commision though!

I am looking for a way to configure php4 to access oracle 8i database and need help there is tons of material on Mysql but hardly any on oracle
