missing info in pre.php?

I am testing Tim's user authentication system, which seems to be great, but the "pre.php" file that I am receiving in the zip file only contains the following:

'; } function site_footer() { } ?>

I assume there is more to this file because there are other functions that are being called and are non-existant.

Also, the whole thing disappeared from the code library.

Can I get a copy of the full file???
