i want to use php to write a page for report printing. i wrote a code to retrive data from mysql database, and put it on the html form, but it may involve more than 1 form each time. Just want to write a code to perform report printing as Crystal report...any idea on that?

We create forms using rich text format and a .doc extension to the report created from pulling from a database. When you click on the URL to the newly created rich text doc Internet Exployer spawns microsoft word. You can reverse engineer a report by first creating it in word and exporting it in rich text format. You then include it in your php code changing the fixed text to your datbase fields. Don't know if the helps, plus you asked months ago.

hexchad, note that the previous last post in this thread was posted in 2001. Considering that it is attributed to Anon, it was probably posted before some major board change (before my time, sorry).
