I have been looking for sockets and examples, and all I found was a Whois example in my "Professional PHP Programming" book. I tried modifying the code to work with telnet, with NO LUCK. I want to be able to telnet to a port, send some commands, then logout. I have tried multiple ways of doing this, but none of them work. If anyone has examples, please tell me. Thanks for all the help in this great forum.
