What does phpbuilder use for it's forum package? It's is completely from scratch or is it a lightly modified version of some other package? Is it available?
It looks like phpbuilder is using phorum from http://phorum.org/. At least the message area.
Correct. Phorum is great, I use it on my sites too. Easy to setup, use, and customize (lightly or heavily). It does require a RDBS like mySQL or Postgres. But these days I don't think that is much of an issue.
Hi, Thanks for the helpful replies, I have another question. How does PHPBuilder gets its messages from the forums searchable by search engines like Yahoo! That was how I first found about PHPBuilder and would like my site to be searchable like that. Thanks for any info.
