MSAccess ODBC MySQL

My problem still exists. I had installed
myqobc in win98 and need to link some access tables with MySQL database in RedHat machine.
everything seems to be allright I have even MySql netadmin which is running in 98 and connects with mysql database but ODBC gives me in connection error like:[TCX][MyODBC]Access denied for user:'webuser@'(using password: YES)(#1045).

In odbc conf I declared:
Windows DSN name:sample-MySQL
MySQL host name(IP):192.168.0.98
MySQL database name:galvi
user: webuser
pasword:123

WHAT I'M DOING WRONG???

Hi !
Check your access rigths in mysql.
You have to enter in the database mysql and there in the table user your loginid webuser
and the password 123.
If you want to make sure that you can login with this user only form your workstation, enter in the field Host your Workstation-IP.
Leave it blank for any Workstation.
Dont forget to encrypt your password with the mysql-function PASSWORD.

There could two reasons for the problem:

1.) It seems like the machine name/ip is missing ('webuser@' should be ''webuser@yourmachinename/ip')
Try to putt you Win98 name/ip in the hosts file of the same one.

2.) The user 'webuser' is not allowed to
connect to the MySQl server from the Win98
machine.

Yes I don't know what was wrong with my machine IP but when I changed it ODBC and
Mysql started working thanks a lot
