Hello all,
I have been fooling with this for 2 days now and I can't find the solution. I have gone through every posting I can find on the subject and still come up with nothing. I am probably doing something stupid here.
I am doing a browser based upload to a directory on my web server. The file seems to upload fine but I can't do anything with it. When I try to copy I get the following error:
Warning: Unable to create 'test-file1.exe': Permission denied in /sites/site4/web/members/upload/index.php3 on line 34.
I have done the following so far.
1) Checked that my web server is running as the same user/grp as the directory the upload is going to. In this case HTTPD.
2) I have set the temp directory to be the directory I am uploading to. I did this in the php3.ini file.
3) I have used PHP to pull the: $uploadedfile_name - $uploadedfile_size - $uploadedfile_type values and they all seem correct. The localfile comes out as something like php22723aaa and all the rest come out correct to what they should be.
4)I can see the file on the server as it uploads but then, as I understand it is supposed to, it dissapears as soon as the function is done running. So I can't do anything with it.
5) I have stamped my feet, cursed and generally been foul to my computer.
None of these things seem to work. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated as I have very little hair left and I can't afford to rip any more out.
