I use notepad to write my php script, but it save as sample.php.txt , how to change it ?
i'm using Win98, thanks for your answer
you can rename it in MS DOS:
ren sample.php.txt sample.php
If you rename it using win-explorer notepad should stick to that new name for that particular file
use qutotation marks to save your file.
Could you be a little more specific?
Hi,
just type
"something.php3" instead of somthing.php3. Put " around the filename 🙂

I'm using MPS PHP Editor 2000 - it is much better to use for creating PHP script. It has also different colors for different objects - eg. arrays are green and comments are grey. If you are intrested, visit download.com. PS! It is freeware!

When you want to save your work on notepad, select All Files to save that, then no need to rename again in windows explorer.
