PHP coding guidelines?

Hi all, I wonder if someone can help?

Im looking for a guide to coding PHP well, details on practises like case convention for typing it it, indent convention, neatness of code etc.

Basically a guide to uniformally correct coding - making it pretty 🙂

When I am trying to send the value of $NOTES from one form to next php file
how could I for $NOTES value into TEXTAREA in the new PHP file(receiving file)

The neatest code is the one you like 🙂 Some people prefer for example:

if(1) {
func();
} else {
tion();
}

but some prefer:

if (1)
{
func();
}
else
{
tion();
}

Both are correct coding. Take a look at different people's codes and try to decide which is the one you read/understand easier. This may help you decide on the coding style. I hope this may help you.

You stick the data you want between the <textarea> containers like so:

print "<textarea name=NOTES>";
print stripslashes($NOTES);
print "</textarea>";
