regular expression

hi. i have a problem whit regular expression
I have to create a function to validate any expression in a comment but the comment doesn't have any caracter like '@, #, %, & *'. the problem is that, the commment, may have, spaces in the middle and i don't know the convination (on regulas expression) for that spaces....
please anyone help....

PD: in example:
(^{[a-z0-9]+\$).......is} wrong, i know.. that
doesn't validated the spaces....

Just include the space character in the bracket expression, like this:

^[a-z0-9 ]+$
