Getting Example .swf Script to Work

Hi,

I'm having a look at PHP4.0.2's Flash support and the example script they supply in the manual. However, when I run it I get the following error:

Parse error: parse error, expecting `')'' in /home/www/htdocs/swftest/generate.php on line 21

Any idea why? This happens on more than one box I've got set up.

Well that would be because you have a typo in your script, usualy this would be a missing quotation mark causing it to miss a bracket or two.

If you tossed your script up here then I could better help in debugging it...

You're totally correct. I forgot to remove an HTML tag from within the cose (MISE screwed up the cut n' paste).

It's not real intelegence, it's just logical thinking, I've run into the same error as Jonathan so many times, I just learned from my mistakes 🙂

Seems odd that MSIE doesn't want to copy that PHP source from the clipboard though. Netscape's fine with it.

IE has a few weird ways of handling data, as does Netscape, one would wish the two could actualy agree on some real standards.
