email problem

I have a problem with the mail function. I am not sure where it is coming from. When I use the mail() function to sent out mail either a html mail or a plain text mail. When the email body gets larger, the email content will be distorted. When I echo the email body, it's perfectly fine. But when I open it in outlook or yahoo mail, some extra text will be appended at the end or some text got deleted.
The file I am senting is really not big, just 7K.
Has anyone experience this kind of problem? Does it has something to do with my email set up? I don't think the code has any problem, I am able to recieve the mail when it's <6K.

Just to make it more clear. This is my code:
$email_body in my application is a table. But if you append enough content in the email body, the email content will be distorted. Please help!

I've also suffered from the same problem.
When ever I send out a semi-large email I end up with exclamation marks throughout the email.
Afraid I've got no i idea whats causing it.
