hi ya, i recently accepted a position at a co. where i'll be coding html, and begin to learn asp and cold fusion (they are migrating towards ASP). At my interview i informed the dir. of tech. about php and he wanted more info on it. The whole shop runs on nt, so i wanted some advice from you guys =) i know php will not run as stable on a nt as opposed to a nix server, but how stable is it on nt? is there a big difference in regards to php performance on a nt server instead of nix? is php any faster then asp? Should i even try to persuade him to go with php instead of asp? i'm asking all these questions so i can try to persuade the dir. of tech. to give php a try.
