How to run PHP scrpts from VB Application

Does anybody know how to run a PHP script in a Linux platform, from a Visual Basic Application, in Windows NT platform?

I don't have an idea how to do it, btw what could PHP do for you that VB can't ???

you could get via an http request from vb to the linux-apache (in case there is an apache)-- this should at least start the script ...

You could always open a conenction (SSH or Telnet) from VB to the server then execute the script from the commandline (automated by VB of course).

Like mentioned as well you can use HTTP GET, but I would personally go for the SS/Telnet option if you don't want others to access the script.
