Apache + PHP + Sessions + need HELP.!.

Well,
I have the following thing coming up on my browser when I try to run the session_start() function :-

Warning: open(/tmp\sess_0fc726e4a041d59b6bfbcfc63e5bfb90,
O_RDWR) failed: m (2) in c:\program files\apache
group\apache\htdocssession1.php4 on line 3

I have PHP 4.0.3 + Apache 1.3.24 + MySQL running in the background.

I need some urgent help on this one.

Sessions work by storing entire sets of variables on the server. By default, these are stored in temporary files.

It looks as if your PHP configuration is pointing to a directory where the Web server cannot create the temporary file. Look in your php.ini file for the session.save_path setting, and make sure it lists a valid location.
