Hi,
I have a small problem with my database, I need to upload 2 images at once and their filenames to be inserted into a database.
I can get this working fine with one image at a time but I heard somewhere that 2 images at a time is not possible... Is this true??
Also I heard of a php script that will thumbnail an image automatically, since one of my images is a thumbnail of the other anyway this would be perfect... Does Such a Script exist???
Also totally off the subject.. how do you add that little icon to a webpage so that it appears beside the name of the page in the favourites list, e.g. yahooo.com has a little 'Y!'
Okay, regarding the two images: Check out the column posted here a few weeks ago. ("File Uploads Made Easy"). This is a good place to start. You might also check out ImageMagick.org. Great application for resizing images on the fly.
As far as creating two images from one, I had no luck. I simply resized my first image to a smaller maximum width, copied it to a second directory, and resized it again. So far, it doesn't seem to be taking up too much in the way of resources.
Now, the "Favorites" icon. Do some research on "favicon.ico". I found a shareware app that creates these icons, but I can't remember what it was called.
Hope this helps.
