Location Handler In Apache

I wanted to map all files url requests to a particular php page.
Rather like having a php_prepend directive but that
requires the file you are requesting to at least exist.

I think it would envolve the Location Apache Directive?

You can set the default 404-error document (the 404 error is generated when the requested page is not found) by adding this line to your apache-config:

ErrorDocument 404 /yourfile.php

This will redirect all requests for a page that does not exist to yourfile.php

Thanks for the tip. I realised after posting the message
that it was a little confusing.

I do not want an error to occur but instead pass the
url that what was requested to a php script and
from whatever url was requested generate
the correct page.

Rather like a get string but the data is stored in
the url before the ?.

You can still use my method though .. the requested document is stored in $REQUEST_URI.

Does the job wonderfully and then you can use
REQUEST_URI as you said. Thanks.
