Java And PHP

Hi, i am interested in using php and java together, i have seen something about java extensions in the php site, but i dont know what are those for.... would someone instruct me on how to use java objects from php, if it is posible...

Here's one of the samples that's shipped with the php distribution which should clearly demonstrate how a java class is referenced within a php script and how it is then reflected into a php variable and can be worked with like any other object. This sample is called jver.php.
