Is it possible for someone to change a home page .php file on port 80?
We have a firewall and we are only allowing tcp 80 and tcp 443 through, but someone is removing the original content of the .php file and replacing it with "bragging hack text".

Is this possible, and if so, how can this be stopped?

it looks like its possible since they are doing it... 🙂

trying to stop it depends on what server you are using and what version it is. go to the vendor website and see if there are any known security holes that need to be fixed.
