Convert HTML to Plain TEXT

Hi People,

We have a project where we need to send a report to the client using a cron. The report is also shown to the client through a web based query form using PHP & MySQL.

Is there a HTML2Text converter like the one that's there for X windows.. in PHP?

Has somebody made a class/function for this earlier?

Any suggestions?

I had a similar problem, the best way is to use a seperate program and call it from php eg. exec().There a loads of converters for
unix out there just use a regular search engine to find them.

You can try to use the strip_tags() function, which removes all html and php tags in a string. Not sure if this will help or not?
