Refresh Window ....

This question is related to java script ..
hope u guys don't mind ....

i open up a new window (window.open(url))
when a click on a hyperlink ....

when i close my new window i want to refresh the old window(from where i clicked ..)

is there any way to do that ...

I also have a similar question. I open a new window asking a user to update a data. Once a user is done and select a button. I want to refresh the new window. Is there a way of doing this. Thank you for any help.

onClick="location.reload()"

This works great, but we want to pop up the same form from differtn windows and update a third window. Is there any way to name the frame to refresh or name the windows to refresh

Basically, we are adding records and when we close the add redrod popup form, we want the page behind it to already have the updated data so we don't have to hit the reload button.
