Dreamweaver PHP Recognition

Hey I've done a search and none of the articles are relevant to my query.
Anyon eknow how I can get Dreamweaver ( 3 ) to recognize .php3 files as files it can handle? e.g if I want to do a cross-site find and replace, Dreamweaver ignores files with .php3 extensions and it's a pain in the neck!

Alternatively, anyone know a good text editor that will do find and replace, recursively through directories, etc?

If I recall well, you must add extension .php3 in Preferences and select Dreamweaver as default editor for that type of file.

After using Slaven's advise also use the site manager (press F5) define a site and then you can do a search and replace across your entire site

Go into program files>macromedia>dreamweaver3>configuration>and then alter your extensions text file to include the php extensions you wish to use with dreamweaver.
