socket_set_timeout()

I've got a windows related problem here,

does anyone know an equivalent of socket_set_timeout() that will work on Win NT, as I can't get it to work.

We're currently running PHP 4.03pl, with Apache web server.

If anyone has any answers.....

I've got the same problem.. and the manual says it should work with 4.04B or later.. but it doesn't..

I've also got the same problem with version 4.06 on winNT and really need something that works. Anyone knows if it works under linux?

It works perfectly in linux.

We run version 4.06pl and it is a treat.
