archiving data(*NOT*redo log)inOracle

archiving data(NOTredo log)inOracle

Hi all,
I am Sujeet. I have one requirement that I need to archive some tables as they are taking too much disc space.

Also I may need to restore and search through archived data later. I do not know how to do this. I am using Oracle8i(8.1.6) on Solaris(2.6).
