Basically you can't.

Unless someone develops (or has developed) a module which you can compile into the PHP core there are no functions in PHP to send SMS text messages.

However, you can contact one of the providers that offer the facility and ask them if you can link to their facility from your site. This is usually just a simple HTML form that POSTs to their server with your ID number and then comes back to your site afterwards.

Can !! If you know the SMS protocol, and you have the SMS server, then use fsockopen() to open connection to that server and push your data ... And the SMS server will do that for you ... PHP cannot send the SMS directly to your mobile-phone (MP need antenna, remember ??)... Or unless you put wire between both of them ... 🙂
