fopen("http://nl.nedstatbasic.net/cgi-bin/newstat?referstat=yes&geen_top10=0&URL=$URL&titel=$titel&teller=$teller&Naam=$Naam&E-mail=counter@rollslightning.com&password=$password&password2=$password&cat200=270&nieuwsbrief=0&agree=", "r");
This script is to generate a counter automaticly, but it doesn't work. The scripts below does work:
include("http://nl.nedstatbasic.net/cgi-bin/newstat?referstat=yes&geen_top10=0&URL=$URL&titel=$titel&teller=$teller&Naam=$Naam&E-mail=counter@rollslightning.com&password=$password&password2=$password&cat200=270&nieuwsbrief=0&agree=");
What is wrong with the first script. Please email me ASAP.

The include() statement includes and evaluates the specified file, whereas with fopen() a file pointer is returned. Check the online manual, these two functions do different things (and are also dependent on how your php is configured)
