form problem

When I view my site in netscape, it looks slightly different when I put this tag in. I don't know why it makes it look different then on MSIE.

Here is a snip of the html code..

The thing that looks different is one of the tables becomes more expanded in Netscape, but not in MSIE.

Is there a way to get out of this problem.

seems like <form method="" action=""> acts as a spacer in netscape.

Netscape is fairly strict when it comes to HTML and will try and make you write good code. MSIE is relaxed and lets you write sloppy code.

The problem here is that you start the form in one <td>, but end it in another <td>. You're kind of spanning objects...

Start your form before the table and end it after the table. Also, if you put data between table rows, like where your </form> is, that causes problems in netscape. it'll save all of those and output them before or after the table, since it's in an area where there should be no data.

I too am often frustrated by how my forms and tables can look different in IE and Netscape.

A couple of things I've learned. You cannot use the <font> tag just prior to a form <input> tag in Netscape.

Also Netscape's form boxes display slightly longer than IE's.

Lastly, are you missing a final </form> tag in your HTML code? I noticed two <form> tags and only one </form> tag in your message.
