Having Email MAPI problems...

Hi. I would like to be able to parse about a year's worth of email messages into a CSV file. I have the program to use (Message Parse by cypressnet.com) but since the messages are in Outlook 2000, it would need MAPI connectivity for the parsing program to work, it seems. I am on a LAN but not with Exchange. Any ideas??

Don't know any exact solution to your problem but maybe you can export Outlook mail boxes to a more usable and universal format like the unix mbox format used by Netscape too.

I had such a problem before Netscape 6.0 was released. Outlook (Express in my case) can import Netscape mail boxes but, of course, doesn't offer the choice to do the other way. Now Netscape 6 can import Outlook mail boxes and store its boxes in easily parsable files (unix mbox format).

Maybe it's an easy way to go for you?
