Whois look up?!!

Hi,

I'm also new to those interactive languages. I would need an advice about the querry. I would like to do a script for a whois internic's database (If the domains are still free or already taken & who took them?!!). Can someone give me a hand in understanding from where should I start. & even where I might get a made script for it (I would even pay for it... I just wish to know what's in the code & how can actually parse that info). It's my obsession... I'm looking for that for months & I was still unable to find anykid of info.

Any comment would be very appritiated. Thanks.

Thank you most kindly for the script.
I'll try to test it immediatelly. I'm new to php world (ex ms developer moving to linux def.) Actually I just couldn't wait too long so while I was waiting I was also uploading & testing "I just test it & to tell you the truth it's cool. I like it. Thanks again. & I wish you all a Happy New Year.
