I am currently thinking about using PHP for a large scale project and am just doing a litle research on it, so sorry if my terms ar not correct!

I have a question about php calling java.

Using PHP3 how easy is it to call an objector method and get a response back and what is involved. I understand that in PHP4 it integrates easier with java. But how easy is it to call an objector method and get a response back and what is involved.
