Hi Vincent
I am sorry if I offended you. I did not post both the problem and the solution, we are behind a firewall and so many pc's share an IP address . We wrote the product because we tried PDF printing, then flash printing, then HP printing but found that there was just not a decent way to print invoices etc. So we wrote our own. We are just trying to make a living, as, I am sure, you are. Because we are PHP lovers and programmers, we wrote a php include file that will make interaction with our program as easy as possible, and so, I thought and hoped that other people might appreciate the solution.
We decided on the email approach because we were worried that because of the complex nature of OCX files, users may need a bit of help at first, and because we knew their email addresses, we could follow up.
Have you tried the examples? I am sure that if you do you will see that, no matter how you design your page, you can never do, for example, a legal tax document or a customs document or a business card or a duplex multipage or landscape document.
Our product does not need to be installed on a server but simply put in a directory accessable to the web pages and I felt that that is a reasonable solution.
How would you design a web page to force itself to be printed in landscape?
Sorry again but, like I said, we are just trying to make a decent living by offering a decent solution.
regards
Justin
