htaccess

Hello all

I really need some help here with htaccess. I have installed the new 7.0 ver of Lunix from 6.2?

htaccess is not working.. but i can and do the basic auth prompt for user name/pw.
BUt it denies me access. I have checked the password files and if nothing else they are there?

i faced this problem earlier and what worked was changing the case of the commands and the order also. you may want to try starting from the basic directives and the add more.
