Ok here is the deal I have a chat room on my homepage and I wanted to get more people to go into the chat room. Threw research i found that most people don't want to go there becase they think the room is empty. I was wondering is there a way to tell the users how many people are view the chat page. Like it was say something like this " There are currently 5 people in the chat room" seeing as that the room is on the page I would hope that there is a script that can tell me how many people are doing it. I know there is a way to do it in CGI but my server does not have a cgi bin. will thanks alot. Hope someone knows how to do it.
