I search for an counter that counts the active users on my webpage.

Perhaps a Frame with the sourcecode refreshs every minute and the script in the frame sends a signal to the webserver, so the webserver knows, if the user is on the Server, but how to do that ?

There are no 100% method of identifying with PHP wether a user is connected to your server, but some good solutions you can find on www.hotscripts.com under section: php develorment i think?? i don't remember, well anyway try to find out the answer there.

I have found one at a German site (I'm german), the counter is very good, when the user is inactive for 5 minutes the counter don't count this user.
