Sending 2nd time

Though I am successful in breaking email and updating in 4 fields in mySQL ($from, $subject, $body, $date) but here are couple of problems:

a) In body field, I want to keep only "text" format. But when sender is sending HTML (bit 7) email, how to convert HTML email to plain "text" email?

Is there any command to convert html file to plain ascii text?

b) When sender is sending attachment with email, how attachement can be curtailed/detached?
