Variable Expression Writing.

Hi all...I've been playing with the gmDate function, and was just wondering....the "S" option gives an English ordinal suffix, which is quite handy, but being interested in layout, as well as functionality, how can I correctly write this variable so that my "S" is parsed by the browser as super script?

eg> If the date in this example is:
Thursday January 25th, 2001
how can I write the variable below so that the "th" is rendered as superscript?

$CurrentDate = gmDate("l F jS, Y");
