need FREE PHP host with NO banners!

Hi, I have been doing a loooot of research and I haven't found one yet... I need a banner-free free php host for my website. I would appreciate MySQL db and no traffic limitations. I know this is a difficult request so feel free to only answer if you have some ideas...

Most free sites with no banner ads are here today gone tommorow... Even ones with banner ads are having problems...

I wanna thank everyone who took the time to reply to my post... Unfortunately as I said in my post I DID some heavy research and I knew all of the ones you mentioned... Unfortunateyl f2s.com is been having serious problems for the past months, hostcool.com offers only 2Mb of webspace and the ones in the list all have a catch somewhere... Let's just say that f2s.com is a really good one and will probably be the best around once they solve their technical issues... If anyone knows some other one which is not too famous then please post!

hi,

give port5.com a try. they do over php. they put no banner ads on your pages and they are somewhat fast and relieable (i am in austria / europe).

i think you get around 12mb space.
port5.com belongs to portland.co.uk - seems that they are hosted in GB.

you can also get a subdomain xyz.portland.co.uk / xyz.8bit.co.uk and of course xyz.port5.com.

I just signed up on f2s.com also, having found them on the web. They were great, except that during the day they appear to be crawlingly slow. Was this the same sort of technical problems that you encountered?

Yes, more or less the same problem... In the last months they have been very weird. Looooooots of downtime and slow during the day... I hope they'll solve the issue because they where the best ones around...

i am in europe (austria) and f2s.com and port5.com really rock during the (later) day. in general it is better to surf european websites by night (gmt) and american one during the day (gmt). so you hit those sites when noone other does (almost noone)...

Hi guys,

I think i have found THE ultimate host.
It has no banners, is free and supports PHP and Mysql.

First register for a regular account, then register a CGI account. When you have the ci account you'll et acces to 1 mysql database wich has the name of your login name.

Download phpadmin on

http://phpwizard.net/projects/phpMyAdmin/

and upload it just changing the configuration file (fill in the database name and your password). This gives you the most easy to use acces to your database.

Dont forget: you don't have password protected directory's so everyone can acces that script. If you do it like i do, upload the script when you need to alter your database and delete it afterwards.

I do give a thing about your typework but I knew them and as to my knowledge they have banners on their sites... If you did upload yours and it's got no banners let me know how satisfied you are and how fast overall it is...

when you register, you have acces to your own control panel. I don't have banners on my cgi account. You can setup banners if you want, and they say they will pay you a couple of cents everytime somebody clicks on it (don't know if that's true) anyway, you don't have to put banners on it if you don't like it. i haven't banner on my site

They have a lot of members, so here, in europe belgium, the overall speed is good for a normal site. PHP works nice so the servers do theirs jobs.

if somebody knows other free php/mysql hosts, please share the information so that PHP can become even more open for everyone

Well, f2s is the best I've seen, but it can be a pain sometimes. In looking for a better host is how I found this message board! I guess there just aren't many for real php hosts out there that do everything you want... F2S has some really SLOW moments, but if you try again in 15 minutes, it's allright. I'd stick with them, and if you aren't signed up, do it!

I just wanted you to know , if you can go through some french

they offer 100 mb and more if you ask and are in good terms with the politic (no mp3 no porn .. and the like)
php4u mysql
(no upload with php tough so dont try for uploading many things rom your visitors )
and if you name all your files .php or .php3 , no ads
(ads with html pages only)

Well i think i know another spanish host
but one thing they have a litle pop up i just seen that, they support CGI, MySQL, PHP and More they have unlimited Space if it nultimedia upload no more than 1.5mb per file well well i you wanna check it
