I posted a few weeks ago about looking for a host. I'm not interested in a hosting service, but in finding someone who has can host PHP/MySQL pages to put a site up, and do some basic configuration and changes (which will probably be necessary since development was done in Win98 and the hosting would best be done using Linux.)
A hosting service isn't suitable since usually they don't know what they're doing (the problem I'm having now with a host), and some of the changes may be quite involved.
There is also the possibility of doing some actual PHP programming, if that's your bag. I'm now on a contract in Central Asia, and getting a stable internet connection is almost impossible -- makes it difficult to upload/download files or telnet into servers.
Several people are interested in seeing the site in operation, and if they like what they see then money will follow, and we can take care of any of your expenses.
