We recently installed PHP4 to our company server and I've been fooling around with it over the past week. I have a very interesting question and perhaps someone on this list might be able to answer it. I've created a Flash movie, consisting of several draggable movieclip symbols. I would like to create a kind of "model" or "configuration" using these symbols while I'm online. Once I'm satisfied with the model that I've created, I would like to save all the elements of the SWF to a textfile on our server, using PHP4. The idea would be to also retreive this data at a later time- and to reassemble it back into a Flash movie online.
I can save actual written data (words and numbers) to a textfile on our server- and, I can call it back up again, all using PHP4. I'm assuming that I would have to create a PHP script in order to save all of the elements of the Flash movie; and another PHP script to reassemble them. Has anyone ever seen something like this done before? And if so, would you have an idea of how I would go about doing this? Thanks in advance.
