Php/mysql hosting

Hey, I was just wondering if there is anywhere out there that provides free hosting and some mysql and php support. I'm trying to develop a couple of things in here in college, and it's a real pain cos none of the servers here have Mysql on them, and none are too keen to put it on....

any help is appreciated

Or you could just go download the server software to you local pc and install it for use there, which for playing and development purposes is the best practice anyways.

If yer looking for an easy setup I would suggest checking out http://www.php4win.de if your a windows user.

If he was looking for host he most likely needs something that has a domain name and can be broadcast to everyone. If he has a 56k he might not want to do it himself since he would be too slow and have a dynamic IP. Also even if he had a DSL or Cable who has the time to host a site 24/7 with only an IP address. To put it simply stick to dedicated hosting for dedicated sites.
