I am, what most consider a "newbie" I also happen to be a dumb newbie at that.
Which brings me to my question: i have, recently, been experimenting with various .php news updaters for my website. I recently downloaded a PHP script and was able to get it up and running w/o any hiccups. Everything was running smootly until I viewed my page. I had converted my .html file to a .php file so that the news would show up (it is an external .txt file which contains all of the code. I used the <?php include> tags to embed it into the site) After i had loaded the website, all seemed normal until i attempted to post another news posting. The news posting, after copying it to my external news.txt file would not show up on my .php(main index page) even though i had embedded it in. Anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?
