Session variable expiry

I'm in the process of completing my website and I can't figure why if someone was to click "Back" on their browser, why the I get an "expiry" message. I don't want this to happen and I can't figure out how to prevent this....so far, i've gotten around this by opening new windows but this is a really crappy solution.

Can anyone help me out here?

I think that is all browser dependant. It depends on your settings for the cache.

I'm using IE 5. If anything, it should work on that because it's a very popular browser. As far as editing my cache, i'm not sure where to start with that. I looked in the php.ini and the apache config file and didn't find anything that suggested a solution. Do you know where I can find out how to correct this issue?

You might be able to set some headers that control whether the page is cached or not, maybe that'll help. Look at the header() function.

I think Microsoft just programed IE to mess with PHP pages so they look bad....
