MySql to Excel

Hello all
I want to create a form for our employees to be fill with address and personnel information in php , then I want the result of the submission to be in Excel format .xsl from MySQL .
Can I do that ?
Please help . I use phptriad . on my PC linked with LAN (NT)

Try to use .csv files. Exel can read this type.
.csv is text file so php can create it.

I've never tried this, but you can change the header to read "Content-Type application/excel\n\n" Instead of content-type text/html. And them stream you comma delimited file. I believe IE will magically turn into excel and you can have it like that.

Just a thought.
